Berkeley Evaluation and Assessment Research Center -BEAR-

The Berkeley Evaluation and Assessment Research Center -BEAR- is based at the University of California, Berkeley, in direct affiliation with the Graduate School of Education. At the core of BEAR Center's research is the development and use of appropriate assessment methods for evaluating students, schools, and educational policy, and the reform of educational evaluation away from the use of inappropriate standardized tests.
