BRAC, formerly -Bangladesh Rural Advancement Committee-

The Research and Evaluation Division (RED), established as an independent unit within BRAC in 1975, has evolved to become the largest NGO-based research unit in Bangladesh. It conducts multi-disciplinary studies on poverty alleviation, socioeconomic development, health, education, environment, and gender issues. These include action research, monitoring, evaluation studies, and impact assessments.
