PSGARC was established by La Trobe University to provide an instution with a focus on legislative oversight. The Centre's primary aims are: To promote research, teaching and practice that contributes to accountability, openness and transparency of government To strengthen public accountability and governance by researching the legislative mechanisms and operation.
